Controlling mum, what can i do?

Compromise always gets you what you want. Sit down and have a talk with your mum and explain the reasons you want to be allowed to wear makeup and ask why she is against it. Tell her that she can come with you to pick out the makeup and if you grab something she thinks is inappropriate, then she can voice her opinion and you two can decide together what to get. I did this with my mum and it was a very bonding experience. I hope this helped! :)
