Tetra ReptoFilter not working?

I have the same issue with my Tetra ReptoFilter heres what i did: i took out the filter cartridge and i turned it around to where the black part is facing me, then i matched the curve part to the impeller housing part of the filter, then if that doesn't work try pulling out the intake tube a little bit and putting it back in thats what normally i do when my filter doesn't work.
