Help with these unusual names?

I'm an American who's lived in London and I always loved meeting people with old fashioned names like these. I have to say I actually love Erasmus quite a bit. I think those names might work better as middle names if you're weary of using them as given names. I wish I could offer up some way to modernize them, but that's my only suggestion. And for the record, I actually like names where thought and consideration went into them, not just giving your child the first name that popped in your head. If these people's lives influence or inspire you, use them in your future naming!
