Getting ready to start clomid...?

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over a year. If I don't get my BFP this month I am going to start clomid this cycle- probably around the 16th. I am just looking for any advice from anyone that has used it. Is there any symptoms that I should look out for? Thanks!!!
